Pros

Easy job, remote, follows school schedule, unemployment in summer but not enough to maintain a balance in todays economy.

Cons

Lack of pay. You do a ton of unpaid work. You constantly have lost hours due to students not showing up for class. Your pay varies every single week. No repercussions for the students and you are asked to constantly move appointments with no pay for the time you just lost or the time you spend moving the appointments. Impossible to hit full time and maintain it. Takes 3 to 4 weeks to hit full time but if there is a holiday or school time off you will have lost that status.

Pros

Working with children on behavioral issues

Cons

Communication with Management was very limited. There was very little training in-person, most "training" was done through the online course. Hours were EXTREMELY limited. When I was first hired I was guaranteed a full-time case load, only to end up with 3 clients a week. There was very little safety training in-person. Overall, I was left unprepared, underpaid, and without enough work to pay bills.
