Pros
It's a very motivated team here, and I feel like my hard work is appreciated and makes a difference to the company. Those that work hard and have positive things to contribute are recognized regularly. This is a start up and therefore flexibility/adaptability is very important. I find that I am challenged every day, have had and continue to have many chances to prove my value/build upon my knowledge and experience. The group is also fun here. They engage in yoga, Thirsty Thursdays, Free Friday lunch gatherings. Flexible start/end times and Working from home is also allowed in some positions if you are able to do so and still get your job done.
Cons
Hours can be very long - but anyone who has worked for a smaller start up that is entering its major growth phase recognizes this and knows that hours are often unpredictable. Vacations can be tough to plan and you might need to maintain some availability on days off, but the rewards are still great. I am always allowed to take off time due to things like health, family, etc. if needed.
