Pros
-Free catered lunch every week -Enough snacks, drinks, and free food that you could make a simple lunch if you forgot one or didn't want to buy one -Nice office for a hybrid environment -Inclusive/progressive work culture
Cons
-The onboarding process is horrible -The most stressful job I've ever had -Terrible managers who don't know how to lead, inspire, or communicate -Entirely disorganized -At large, the worst and most unpleasant team of people I've ever worked with -Employees fight against each other and are competitive, combative, and generally rude and lacking respect and basic professionalism (in a way that was astounding to me) -Many employees resist basic professional practices (like filling out tickets correctly and with enough information, not responding to slacks or emails in good time, providing adequate/realistic time for deadlines, generally being rude and difficult to work with, not writing agendas in meeting invites, etc.). -Executives put pressure on managers, causing managers to put additional pressure on their teams, but in a way that is stressful and chaotic rather than inspiring, encouraging, or built on team work. -There is very little stability at Auctane. Your manager may change multiple times over just the span of a few months, you may change teams multiple times, and your day-to-day can feel up in the air. The job I started with was very different than what my role looked like at the end. -Very little upward mobility or chances at promotion. -People are laid off left and right, creating a tense culture where you could be next. - There is always too much work. -There are too many bad things. This company is the worst, most disorganized, most chaotic, stressful place I've ever had the displeasure of working at. No pay in the world is worth working here, but the pay isn't really that great either.
