Pros

The people that work in the building really care about their jobs and like working in radio. The benefits are the best part about working at this location.

Cons

The Team of sales staff, promotions staff, and on-air talent are great...as a Team. Yet the 2 managers in charge are very micromanaging with constant threats that an individual could lose their job at any point in time. As any employee would realize that notion is true in any place of business, managers have gone above and beyond to make it abundantly clear to the Charlotte staff through emails, remarks, and actions of management constantly, and ever so repeatedly. When you walk down the hallway, most employees are unhappy and are frightened that their jobs are constantly in jeopardy. The Charlotte branch of Entercom is the most bizarre and toxic atmosphere I have ever working in for my entire career. The managers are threatening, rude, disrespectful, and just plain unfriendly to work for and with on almost every project. The culture is a "boys club" and is not respectful to women in the workforce, even though one of the stations in the cluster has a target demographic catered to women listeners. The culture is demanding, unforgiving, and lacks any sense of respect for any employee in any department.

Pros

Some cool work parties, and co workers were nice

Cons

Management was reactive instead of proactive, and the sales team appeared undertrained, with some representatives lacking a strong understanding of the products they were selling. I witnessed an account manager ignore a female client’s requests to change a product yet while he repeatedly was flirting with her, which nearly resulted in losing the account. I also felt unfairly targeted by management, receiving frequent criticism without specific or constructive feedback. Finally, I received virtually no training or onboarding and was expected to perform immediately with little guidance
