Pros
Positive working environment, flexible attitude towards time-off, office culture largely inclusive, interesting & intelligent workforce, ability to raise and discuss concerns openly. Great office in a great location.
Cons
A real lack of transparency between staff and management, which is a problem that incorporates both immediate management (Supervisors/Line Managers etc) and higher-tier management. Plans can change very quickly with little or no notice given to the departments that these changes impact. There is no discernable career path to follow, and on occasion promotions are gained largely through being louder (and thus more well known) than your counterparts. There's a sense that you can work well in your role and exceed your targets, but if you're not the type of person to brag about such achievements then you could still be overtaken by someone doing less but who attends more social events. 1:1's are an afterthought, and career development meetings tend to feel like the box-ticking for the managers so that they can say that they've carried them out.
