      Used to be an amazing product.

      Cons

      I've watched a steady decline of Audible since Don Katz left. Senior management are C-players at best. Our marketing lead is the CFO, our product lead is an analytics leader and the CTO can't ship anything. Spotify is about to eat our lunch, with no resistance. I give the place 24 months until another area of Amazon consumes it.

      Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Good product.

      Pros

      Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Some who come from other big tech companies may think us as nerdy or quiet but I think it’s the lack of toxic compatibility that you tend to see at those other companies. I purely enjoy working with my colleagues and the work that I do, which I can hardly say about the other big tech companies I worked at. Free lunch and commuter/parking benefit

      Cons

      5-day RTO. The headquarter is in Newark, NJ. The commute can be hard for some.
