Over the years leadership has been consistent until about the last 5 years and it has been felt throughout the company. Bring back the old Audible where people felt that this was a place of love, joy and unity. The loyalty to those who has been for years is not felt. It's been very challenging to grow within the company. If certain leaders are not a fan of yours it will be challenging to move into another role. The leveling system which is no fault to Audible really makes it challenging to move your levels up. When it comes to your appraisal / raises it is a joke. It seems that only those who are making $250k and more are those who are not affected because those of us who are making less than $125k which is not a lot of money in New Jersey (2024) have been highly impacted by the increase of everything. Senior Leadership / Directors should be held accountable for everything they do and say. There is no work/life balance you take your work home pretty much all the time. It seems like those who are newly hired gets paid more than those who us who have been at the company for a while. Lastly, if you're uncomfortable with the language your senior leaders are making in meetings you are afraid to go to HR because nothing will be done.
