Pros

Great experience for research depending on which department you are in. Works well with school schedule and allows you to build your resume while doing so. You can move to different departments within the hospital or university

Cons

Does not pay well. You aren't really valued by superiors, and are treated like the help.

Pros

Met lots of people and developed my networking skills. Was adequately prepared to be a presenter at the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop (SROW).

Cons

Not the fault of the office or school; smaller campus just meant fewer people and opportunities.

Pros

Teaches you how to be organized, meet a lot of great people, benefits are decent

Cons

Pay is terrible. Leadership does not care about you. You get in trouble for clocking in 7 or 8 mins too early or too late (point system). No career conversations. No career pathing. It isn't normal to want to talk about your career.
