      Pros

      Smaller number of faculty with unique environment of interdisciplinary work. Current technology as well as cutting edge technology available.

      Cons

      Not all labs are the same, some are still working with the sun dial and others have fine tuned atomic clocks. To put it simply, if you're looking to do work in research, do your homework on the lab and the PI.

      Pros

      Met lots of people and developed my networking skills. Was adequately prepared to be a presenter at the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop (SROW).

      Cons

      Not the fault of the office or school; smaller campus just meant fewer people and opportunities.

      Pros

      Teaches you how to be organized, meet a lot of great people, benefits are decent

      Cons

      Pay is terrible. Leadership does not care about you. You get in trouble for clocking in 7 or 8 mins too early or too late (point system). No career conversations. No career pathing. It isn't normal to want to talk about your career.
