      Regular hours M-F, paid ot and Holidays

      Cons

      No leadership, 2nd shift is all agency nurses. There is a constant recruitment for 2nd shift since there is NO retainment. There is no training, the DON is practically nonexistent, I hired on with 3 others who quit without notice after 2 weeks. I resigned with 2 weeks notice. keep your license and avoid this one facility.

      Pros

      Met lots of people and developed my networking skills. Was adequately prepared to be a presenter at the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop (SROW).

      Cons

      Not the fault of the office or school; smaller campus just meant fewer people and opportunities.

      Teaches you how to be organized, meet a lot of great people, benefits are decent

      Cons

      Pay is terrible. Leadership does not care about you. You get in trouble for clocking in 7 or 8 mins too early or too late (point system). No career conversations. No career pathing. It isn't normal to want to talk about your career.
