      Pros

      It's one of the biggest employers in the city. Working here does allow you to take advantage of a tuition program for state universities. You can take advantage of various trainings offered by human resources.

      Cons

      Low pay, little room for advancement, and depending on the department low morale. There is a class distinction between positions. And in order to advance, it's more who you know than your education.

      Pros

      Met lots of people and developed my networking skills. Was adequately prepared to be a presenter at the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop (SROW).

      Cons

      Not the fault of the office or school; smaller campus just meant fewer people and opportunities.

      Teaches you how to be organized, meet a lot of great people, benefits are decent

      Cons

      Pay is terrible. Leadership does not care about you. You get in trouble for clocking in 7 or 8 mins too early or too late (point system). No career conversations. No career pathing. It isn't normal to want to talk about your career.
