Pros

Time off for holidays and summer. Some knowledgeable SPED staff. Fulfilling to assist high needs students. Insurance benefits are better than none at all.

Cons

High needs students aren’t appropriately serviced under SPED. Under staffed units lead to high rate of staff injury. Serious concerns about administration go unaddressed. Nepotism, racism, and discrimination.
