Holidays and vacation time, and position and pay CAN be decent (if lucky enough to get the right job, in the right department with the right boss; if not, you may choose to not be around long).
Cons
Biased management, lack of leadership, inconsistency in treatment, favors seniority over merit. No merit increases, flat raises (if lucky) that only help to cover the annual increase of insurance costs.
