Very unsupportive district, pay is extremely low which adds up to their shortage. I advise no one to apply here and go to surrounding schools where you're valued. There are some racists (black )principals and their staff at more funded schools like Doss and Casis. Likely because there aren't many black people in Austin as it is and when they do come across a black teacher its an easy no for them.
