There is absolutely nothing redeeming about working for this district. As an organization, they fail to learn from mistakes. There is no comprehensive action plan for anything that matters to teachers - who are truly the core of the entire system. From poor benefits, to dull HR staff, to executive directors with no accountability, Austin ISD truly exemplifies Texas’ place as one of the worst educated populations in the nation.
