Business Outlook
Pros
Community building with my peers helped me in my first year and transitioning to my second year. Admin team (for the most part) was supportive of me in and outside of the classroom.
Cons
Pay was low for living in an expensive city, standards-based grading was a nightmare to deal with and defeats the purpose of being at school, you can't control who your administrators are and therefore can sometimes fall victim to political (i.e., unexpected course assignments according to who is in the admin's good graces) decisions. Little to no support from the state of Texas, bordering on animosity towards being a teacher in Austin
