Pros
The paycheck was the only (semi) upside. I was getting paid but the salary was well below my market worth and over 20k less than I make at my new company. The company pushed me to also work WAY more hours than I was compensated for monetarily or with other perks (like a day off). Most of those hours were spent in pointless meetings with senior leadership confused on what point-of-view they had on the brand(s) or how to evolve it into something that would relevant in any sort of way.
Cons
THE TOXIC COMPANY CULTURE. The lack of company values. The toxic people. The despicable leadership. The lack of leadership. The nepotism. Highly inflated job titles to people who cannot perform the job function. The lack of teamwork. The lack of morale. The lack of respect for employees' time by management. ABSOLUTELY NO WORK LIFE BALANCE. Exactly ZERO opportunities for career advancement. ZERO respect for employees in general. I saw the ABG President tear up a report being presented by a senior director in front of a meeting full of people because he didn't think it included enough information. This type of situation is par the course here. Employees are frequently made to feel insignificant or worthless. I know I did on a daily basis. The fish rots from the head down. Senior leadership is an absolute nightmare which trickles down to the insufferable people and lack of morale company wide. You will be burnt out and absolutely miserable everyday here!
