Pros

I learned and experienced what a toxic work environment is.

Cons

- The Main Boss, Charles Rhee is not a man of his word and does not care about this company or its employees. He does not attend social company gatherings, does not call you back, and does not follow up with an agreed-upon salary range, instead, he will avoid you at all costs and not be direct, nor honest. - The admin team needs help with managing and open communication. Employees could drive and arrive for in-person sessions only to be informed by a client that the session was called in and canceled but the admin did not relay the message appropriately. - They hired me and others as full-time employees but I never got past 20 hours weekly schedules. - Many of the colleagues I started working with ended up leaving, quitting, and mentioned the same complaints. - They are not open to input ( do not care about your thoughts, opinions, or ways of problem-solving), only upper management can solve it. -Very closed-minded individuals and it is sad because this is a mental health company. - I suffered trying to leave this company by actively applying to jobs, getting rejections until I landed a perfect one that is already treating me much better. - This experience caused me to seek a therapist because of the low income I was making even though I was available to work from 7am-8pm, Monday - Saturday, instead the company gave me work from 3-7pm. - I would drive for 45+ mins, which I will hold myself accountable for but not when the client would be a no-show or would cancel on the spot and the company would not offer any form of compensation. - There are no benefits and the company does invest in its employees instead they will keep hiring new employees and I'm confident the turnover rate will be horrendous. -My advice to prospective employees, go work for ACES or Easterseals, who are way better ABA organizations that I have worked for in the past.

Staff that are hired as hourly have a set schedule. Cancellations by staff and clients are out of the company's control. It is in the best interest of the agency that staff work hours to serve the families in need. We will not hire staff as full time salary or change staff classification to full time salary if they are not available for full time availability. If staff only want to work 5 hours a week, the request to be full time salary will be denied. Any discussion regarding pay must be brought to the appropriate department and not to Charles Rhee. There is a chain of command that was presented during onboarding. Staff are instructed to follow this hierarchy. Upper management are not required to attend social gatherings as they have thier own scope of work and duties that are assigned. We have an open door policy where staff can have a discussion with management and their supervisors. All discussions are documented. It is in the best interest of our agency to be open minded and promote positive change in areas of need but requests that do not promote the longevity of the agency such as not willing to work full-time hours and asking for full time salary will not be approved. We offer the best benefits plans but staff need to be full time status. Our agency also covers 50% for the staff and their dependents for all plans.

Pros

Fair treatment, unlike other agencies. Hard work and consistency equates to advancement and financial stability. I have moved up in the company over the years and am in a management position with financial stability. My pay over the years has contributed to the purchase of a home. This company has taught me how to be a professional and the difference between a job and a career. People who want a job, complain. People who want a career do not complain, they improve and contribute to be a better version of themselves to grow. I am grateful to this agency beyond words. This agency cares for the families we serve and for staff.

Cons

Driving in Los Angeles with traffic during rush hour.

Pros

Great pay! Support from upper and mid tier management is very good, better than other agencies I have worked for! Communication is prompt! They do what they say and not just words. Training is formal with a lot of support. You are not just a number here. They treat you like a human being.

Cons

There is a lot of driving some days but I do get paid well for that with mileage reimbursement.
