(This is very detailed and long) -while the pay was great the hours were horrible! I think I received less hours that were offered due to cancellations from clients. Parents in return were upset because employees got away with calling off for no reason and only giving therapy through telehealth -so many changes in clients!! I really do not know who are the PM’s and BCBA’s for the clients. They also never came in person to session. Only through the iPad. -Certain PM’s were more supportive. BCBA’s looked overworked and tired. -I was always having to set up a telehealth! I get it with COVID but it got to the point where I was having telehealth supervision multiple times a day every single day. Kids were always distracted and never formed connections with anyone but mainly BT’s. -when there was a telehealth happening the PM’s and BCBA’s would sometimes say they were going to be on mute with their camera off talking to upper management on the phone “but they’ll still be hearing”. Felt like they never attended sometimes. -I feel really bad for the scheduling person. Yes, 1. It seems they put too much on them. They call/answer parents for cancellations, finds available sub cases for BT’s if they need the hours, handles cancellations from all employees, fixes scheduling and any issues with hours changing etc. -distance. I had to drive 20+ plus miles for some clients from my residence. You don’t get reimbursed for gas from personal residence to the first case. Only between cases. Many clients only had availability in afternoon until 8pm. If you want to working morning you have to work in upper management or parent training/program management -I do not know the amount of kids I’ve worked with. We are expected to sub any available sessions offered in the group chat if it is during our availability. - It was very hard meeting new families and then never seeing them again. Because we sub a lot we are not familiar with running the session. In most cases a sub session is building rapport with the client and not putting demands because you are new and it can affect the session. But upper management gets upset because not enough goals are being ran for client.
