Fun playing with kids, nice supervisors for the most part, constantly learning new things

Cons

Company doesn’t really care about the workers, stopped paying for same day cancelations, only part of drive time is paid for, burn out, not a job for everyone-overturn is HIGH, LOTS of cancelation so your pay is not guaranteed

Flexibility. woman-led field. frequent pay raises. overtime opportunities.

Cons

Clinical director lives across the country so is not as easily accessible or truly aware of staff dynamics and issues. before AST was bought out by LEARN, they did 401K matching, that's no more. No more sick time off, it's all just lumped into your PTO. Issues with staff take too long to be resolved. Depending on the BCBA you get placed with, you'll either have lots of great support or none at all.
