Pros

Helping my clients and their families was very rewarding.

Cons

As with many other ABA companies, working full time with minimal gaps between clients is difficult (therefore, you may be working long days but not getting paid for many hours).

Pros

Flexibility. woman-led field. frequent pay raises. overtime opportunities.

Cons

Clinical director lives across the country so is not as easily accessible or truly aware of staff dynamics and issues. before AST was bought out by LEARN, they did 401K matching, that's no more. No more sick time off, it's all just lumped into your PTO. Issues with staff take too long to be resolved. Depending on the BCBA you get placed with, you'll either have lots of great support or none at all.
