Pros

The 7.5 hour work day means that you only have to work about 9 hours a day once you're on salary. The retirement benefits are good.

Cons

In many groups, women are told their apparel is unprofessional unless they are wearing skirts regularly. Christianity is the de-facto religion. Employees who are not Christians are treated differently as soon as word reaches their manager. Do not transition at this company if you are trans. They make public examples of their trans workers by name. Frequently. Do not work at this company if you have a medical condition. Workers are expected to take no more than 4 sick days per year. Workers on FMLA are treated badly and don't get promoted. Promotions only happen at managers' discretion, and usually only after the employee completes several certifications. Employees are expected to study for these certifications on their own time before they are considered for promotion. Discussing your salary here is considered a punishable offense by most managers. Employees who complete their promotion-granting certifications frequently don't get promoted based on nebulous critiques from their manager. Employees with ADHD or autism are never considered for promotion, and are given meager-to-no raises.

Pros

Amazing people. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing milieu. I love my internship and i am getting paid pretty well for an intern.

Cons

I am in claims so it is pretty redundant in tasks even though no claim is the same.

Pros

There is a lot left to be desired, the primary "Pro" would be co- workers

Cons

In my opinion, AO is short sighted and concerned only for the higher ups. Departments are forced to be silo-ed and have built a culture that even walking into a another area of the same floor makes you feel out of place. Decisions are made from a top down perspective, meaning they are worried about their bottom dollar instead of what is in the best interest of everyone. The front line workers receive a low salary and a cap on profit sharing of 15% while managers get 2x that amount, with the higher you climb the bigger the bonus. Employees are seen as disposable and are treated as such.
