Pros
The Customers were awesome. Associates from other stores would come in and they were really cool. Two managers were really cool and understanding.
Cons
Toxic environment. Management (aside from the store manager) was immature, unprofessional, and created a culture where bullying and disrespect were normalized. I was lied on, mocked in front of coworkers, and even physically pushed by another associate — nothing was done about it. There were also moments of racism and colorism that I was expected to laugh off. As an Afro-Latina, I was treated differently, made the butt of jokes, and put in situations that felt targeted. I cant count how many times I just wanted to cry. I cant count how many times on both hands how many times I just didn't want to show up for work. I wasn’t perfect — I was dealing with depression — but the way I was treated made it worse. I didn’t grow there until I left. That job drained me mentally, and no one deserves that kind of treatment.
