Pros
--> The people who work on making the software are generally good and actually care about the product they're building and what they're doing. The Product Owners are (were) some of the smartest, most dedicated people I've ever worked with. --> The work culture was, at least, really good for a long time.
Cons
--> Management is a joke and a disaster. There's either not enough managers so one's got 30 direct reports, or there's too many and now middle managers are attempting to do projects that they're wildly out of their depth for. --> In 2023 a new leader came in and (attempted) to move the company to Scaled Agile, which was a joke. A company with barely 200 people? What need was there for scale? Simply holding the Product Managers accountable for their failures would have had the desired result without also upsetting everyone else in Product Development, but no, direct confrontation is too hard, better to hire on someone new and rearrange everything so the issues can be addressed indirectly... --> Last I knew, they still had spyware on everyone's computers, a micromanaging power-hungry HR Director, and a CEO who still doesn't know what he's doing at all.
