What I've loved the most about working at Avail over the past year is the amount of personal growth I've been able to achieve and the bond I've formed with each team member. Each person brings a unique skillset to the table, works hard to put out their best work, and has an eagerness to learn and grow on a daily basis. The startup perks are also a great added benefit! Unlimited PTO, a kitchen full of snacks, happy hours, etc.
Overall, I'm grateful to be part of such an awesome team and look forward to each day that holds more opportunity to grow.
Cons
As the nature of a startup goes, there's a lot to be done in a short period of time, so some days may require extra work hours. The nice thing is that you can expense dinner/ubers for days when you do end up working late at the office.
If you're looking for an easy job that doesn't present unique challenges that push you to think critically and learn daily, this may not be cut out for you.

Health insurance was alright, and Payments team did not have to work bank holidays.
Cons
Poor leadership and communication, direct management took credit for ideas and expected team to come up with revenue ideas although that was not required of the department, layoffs happened after leadership bragged how much money was being made and how successful the acquisition was.
