Pros
The work life balance was really good. You get to have a set schedule (for the most part) and AvalonBay really does take great care of their employees. The training program is exceptionally good with many region wide classes set up for new employees. Quarterly events are very fun and a great way to recognize employees.
Cons
I've never worked for a place that is perfect and I don't know that there is such a thing, Anything that may have ever come up was handled professionally and with care for the employees. Transferring was more difficult that I expected and ultimately is the reason I had to leave as I needed to relocate and there were not any open positions. However I am still waiting for something to pop up so that I can rejoin the AvalonBay Family!
