Pros
AvalonBay has numerous growth opportunities and a positive support system. Coming from a company where my growth opportunities were very limited, I was thrilled to be a part of a company that has given me numerous opportunities to be promoted, learn new skills, and become a leader. Great team environment. This is a company that I would like to retire from. Not having to work on Sundays is a plus in this industry, not to mention having numerous paid holidays, and generous amount of vacation time and sick time.
Cons
Medical and dental benefits are a little more expensive than my last company for the actual employee, but family costs are lower.
