Travel at Avanade is a huge part of the role. Client facing Consultants can be away from home for up to 80% of the time and whilst on different projects can be away from home Monday - Thursday. Our Consultants have meals, travel and accommodation paid for, 2 devices and their own credit card to help manage additional expenses. For many consultants travel isn’t a negative aspect of the role, It’s a major positive and gives every employee the ability for change, progression and technical challenge on a constant basis. For those not looking to travel or have a strong work/life balance perhaps consulting as a line of work isn't the best option. However, if you are looking for a role with variety and change maybe consultancy work is for you.
