Pros

The last year has seen a major improvement - The staff met with management and they have met us half way on many things. I applaud management for taking those steps. I feel a lot of these negative adds are being created by 1 person using multiple accounts.. Please just move on things did not work out. If you had that bad of an experience here just move on that is life, if you let it consume you it is still part of your life.

Cons

We are understaffed right now - but this opens up room for advancement and cross training

Pros

The company is growing a lot. New contracts have necessitated increasing the staff. This has opened opportunities for the existing staff. Avatar likes to promote from within and has done so consistently. Avatar has also paid for the training of employees in fields that support their duties. It is a great work environment.

Cons

There are very tight deadlines that must be met for our military customers which can be strenuous. Also critical KPIs are set which the company expects to be met, or a reasonable reason why not and what will be done to fix it.

Work From Home Flexible Work Hours (As long as targets are met) Salary was competitive Great Design and Development Team (or whats left)

Cons

The largest issue for Avatar is the lack of ability to gain new contracts and have a pipeline of future contracts. During my time at Avatar, I was laid off twice due to "lack of work."
