Pros
They offer high compensation through a productivity based production formula. Notably, you get credit for everything that you bill, regardless of whether they actually collect.
Cons
Be very careful as a physician about being employed by them. They have difficulty attracting specialists and use a employment model to recruit. The financial terms are generous but after you sign on, you are saddled with a very weak management team that has no significant physician representation. Accordingly, you may find yourself at a clinic where they have assigned you inadequate space or you show up for work and they are short MAs/LPNs for days on end. You are powerless to get any of these issues fixed in a timely manner. They also effectively change the terms of your compensation retroactively by giving you less credit for a procedure/service after you sign, without adjusting your minimum productivity threshold. The organization is in a very defensive posture recently as the competing health system received a $400 million donation and has completely overtaken them in recruiting new doctors and in facility expansion.
