Pros

The team I was on was let go in September 2022, all but 3 were offered other jobs & received raises. This after months of hearing how Avera had been affected by inflation & to be good stewards of resources. 6 weeks after the team was let go Avera re-created the position & was hiring! McGreevy alone brings in 800 million a year! But Avera doesn’t have any money. Please.

Cons

You have to use your PTO for “paid” holidays, shady practices that are legal only because they aren’t illegal. HR & employee health don’t care about employees

Pros

It's an option of you choose to work for a Christian organization. It's expected of employees to treat patients with dignity and respect.

Cons

Employees do not get the same courtesy of dignity and respect as patients do. New to EPIC. Went live at midnight. Chose the most minimal transition option. Training was minimal and now the expectation is to function with i a system that has not even tested in practice. Upper management does not take the effect of line staff into consideration.
