      Pros

      Avera is a great place to work at. I received a great health care package. Avera has teach me great ways to expand my learning in the healthcare. I started off as a Housekeeper when I started and now I am a CNA.

      Cons

      They are very short handed and need help constantly. The only plus about that is that you get a lot of hours be you can become very sleepy and drain. You have to work at different sites to fill in. I have talked to new hires and some of them didn't even have a High School Diploma.

      Pros

      It's an option of you choose to work for a Christian organization. It's expected of employees to treat patients with dignity and respect.

      Cons

      Employees do not get the same courtesy of dignity and respect as patients do. New to EPIC. Went live at midnight. Chose the most minimal transition option. Training was minimal and now the expectation is to function with i a system that has not even tested in practice. Upper management does not take the effect of line staff into consideration.
