Pros

Good benefits and pay. You can move up with little formal education. Once you are in, you are there for life. Performance tapes allows nearly unlimited overtime.

Cons

Management is seen as a side gig rather than a full-time position of ownit's own, so there is little emphasis on directing employees or employee growth Very little help provided for work place harrassment and bullying. It's been 3.5 years since I left and they are still giving false and negative information to potential new employers of mine. I cant figure out what their problem is. Performance tapes division expected a minimum of a 50 hour work week, with most engineers pulling 60 hours or more and not taking comp time.
