Pros

I have the pleasure of being in a position that allows me to interact with every department in the company. Everyone I have the honor of working with is focused, dedicated, and interested in seeing where the company is growing now that Avesis is a Guardian subsidiary. Flexibility is great, and the option to work from home is a life-saver.

Cons

There are always a few toxic areas that can be vexing. The CS department as a whole needs to be re-vamped. Call centers in the phoenix area are always a bit of a cesspool, and I've seen worse, but the leadership in this call center is lacking. Pay and benefits are very low as well.

Pros

Benefits and 401(k) are decent. Compensation is decent and flexibility for time off and holidays is nice.

Cons

Culture is gutted. Going through an acquisition so the regularly scheduled and reoccurring layoffs will probably increase. Key players that have been around for a while are suddenly departing, which is always concerning. Leadership and what’s left in HR seem to be doing the wrong things and taking risks that aren’t best for EE’s, only bottom line.
