Pros

This company truly cares for its employees and their growth during their time here, and that really stuck out to me through the interview process and now as I am meeting my colleagues. I have felt well taken care of through the onboarding process and getting set up with my equipment was easy and straight-forward. The interview process was amazing as well. I was communicated with very clearly for each step, the process was very thorough and I was given feedback as needed, and my time was never wasted. Even if I had not been offered the job I would have been left with no bad taste in my mouth after the care and organization of the interview process. I am excited to see how I will grow within such an uplifting and amazing company.

Cons

I was warned how long the background check would take, but I did not realize how thorough the employment verification process would be. As a recent graduate with a prior year of full-time employment under her belt, I did not feel prepared for how thorough the verification for my previous employment history would be. It just took a lot of searching for tax documents and chasing down past employer's phone numbers for all of the part-time jobs I held throughout college (I had a lot more than the average person because I spent my summers in different states, and also worked multiple jobs in my college town throughout my undergraduate semesters). However I understand that with the nature of the work we are doing, confidentiality is incredibly important and you can't hire just anyone so the process is not uncalled for by any means. I just wish I would have known so that I would have been better prepared and not spent so much time trying to pull documents and track down past supervisors.

Pros

Benefits and 401(k) are decent. Compensation is decent and flexibility for time off and holidays is nice.

Cons

Culture is gutted. Going through an acquisition so the regularly scheduled and reoccurring layoffs will probably increase. Key players that have been around for a while are suddenly departing, which is always concerning. Leadership and what’s left in HR seem to be doing the wrong things and taking risks that aren’t best for EE’s, only bottom line.
