Pros

Great people, best in the field. Industry leaders

Cons

Avid has had a series of misguided leadership teams that has completely ignored the business we are privileged to serve. They have no idea how to deliver industry leading products to the customers. Instead, the only thing they know is data and spreadsheets. No plan for product improvement or delivery to market. Terrible communications internally and a general sense of a rudderless ship. Do not believe the fake reviews entered on Glass Door. Most of them come from Marketing. The real talent in the company is streaming out the door.

• Some coworkers try to support each other despite the environment • You quickly learn how to handle stress (whether you want to or not)

Cons

• Toxic and reactive management style • Constantly shifting expectations with little to no clear direction • Unrealistic workload with pressure to meet metrics that don’t reflect reality • Lack of accountability from leadership—issues are pushed down instead of addressed • Poor communication across the board, leading to confusion and wasted time • Employees are not supported • Burnout is common and ignored
