Pros
At one time a highly disciplined and product focused organization where one could learn and apply valuable skills. Former leadership believed in prioritization of programs and initiatives based on customer needs and financial and strategic value to the company and the shareholder. Was once a place where someone passionate about music and business could spread his or her wings and gain valuable experience at a publicly traded technology company while working on products they would use for customers they can relate to.
Cons
Systems and processes widely replaced with cronyism and borderline unethical behavior. Business direction based on false premises. Hard to see whether the best interest of customers, employees, and shareholders are being served. Company is burning cash in operations and taking on long term debt to facilitate a vision that may have no end game beyond making executives more wealthy. Key talent has left by reduction in force or voluntary attrition. Skeleton crews maintaining industry standards.
