Pros
The company has had great products. There are good people there who know what they are doing.
Cons
Increasingly management has the "creating widgets" mentality. They don't understand or care to understand the industry or the customers. Many are obviously only planning to stay at the company for a short time and see it as a stepping stone to a better position at another company. They have no interest in the long term stability of the company. This is obviously not everyone, but it is a growing portion of middle and upper management. The company seems to see more value in hiring from outside the company rather than promoting from within. They also seem to be overly concerned about Wall Street. Any time there is a bad quarter you can guarantee there will be layoffs. They are mostly for show and the company hires more people shortly after.
