Pros
The employees made the company an enjoyable place to work. Truly talented, smart engineers willing to share knowledge filled the halls. Exciting products and projects were the norm. No real politics to speak of...anyone who engaged in that sort of nonsense was short lived there.
Cons
I left on my own a couple years ago and at that time morale was in a deep dark hole. I've heard it's worse now. Management routinely hands down real head-scratcher decisions. The senior staff lies to the rank and file to the point that company meetings are predictable BS sessions. There is no respect for employees. The current trend is to outsource everything possible, even products that require deep knowledge of the quirks of the systems. They didn't seem to learn their lesson from when they went that route several years ago.
