Pros

I stumbled into Axon during the covid layoffs in 2020. I made an industry switch from hospitality and couldn't be happier! Working at Axon has been nothing short of amazing. Not only does it feel rewarding to work for a company that is trying to do right by law enforcement and the public to "protect life," the company treats their employees so well. From health benefits, to unlimited PTO policy, to overall comradery within departments and across the organization, there really isn't a negative about working here! Pro's: * good compensation with potential for stock plans, bonuses and commission. * unlimited PTO * wfh opportunities * flexible working hours * good transparency and communication from upper management across the organization * being part of the mission to find non lethal ways to protect life * working with others who are just as dedicated to axon's overall mission statement and values * potential for growth (whether in your department or in a different one) the company is supportive of you growing even if it means moving to a different department * ability to connect with people all over the world working towards the same goal

Cons

With any job there are some cons, but the list is short for Axon. Cons: * longer working hours during busier times of the year * potential weekend work * system issues

Pros

The company has a great mission to protect life. The value of win right is something I think is often lacking in other companies and I have seen how it works well here with external wins.

Cons

As a salary employee I have worked more weekends and holidays than days I have taken off in the time I have been here with hardly a thanks. It’s an expectation that my salary does not cover. I tend to feel like a cog in a wheel rather than a valued individual.
