Cons
What a disappointment. I used to absolutely love working for Aya. I was telling anyone that would listen how amazing my company was, how appreciated I felt and how I planned to stay for years and years to come and grow in my career. I used to feel completely supported and like the company wanted to see me succeed. As many other reviews have stated (and they are 100% correct) everything has changed over the course of the last year. A company I once loved did a complete 180 and became just like every other toxic corporate job. The failure of the leadership team to provide any transparency regarding the silent layoffs will leave lasting effects on those who are left behind. How do you expect the remaining employees can have any trust moving forward? Across different departments it truly seems Aya is trying to make things so miserable that people will quit rather than Aya having to offer a “voluntary” separation. People disappear every week and we are supposed to move on like they never existed. Everyone is just a number and Aya has made that blatantly obvious. They will reply to these reviews with the same generic response, failing to take ownership for what has been done. What makes it even worse is that the president got on stage in Vegas and boasted about Aya never doing layoffs… LOL. Oh, also beware Aya likes to make a “promotable pathway” and then move the goal post every 6 months to string you along and prevent you from making any tangible career growth. But don’t worry, if you’re a friend of someone in leadership you will certainly get the undeserved promotion!
