Pros

1.) Your first weeks of onboarding include videos and trainings to help you ease into agency life, they allow you to get familiar with the tools they use and you can revisit the videos at any point. 2.) It is fully remote, yet the company culture still thrives. The morning meetings consists of not only run downs of everyones daily tasks, but jokes and life updates, helping connections be formed even through a screen. (also if you are based in Tampa theres the occasional B2 in person work day!) 3.) NETWORKING! Missy, Kyle and Shannon have so many connections around the Tampa Bay area and are more than willing to help you connect. Even after my internship ends they advised me to stay in contact and reach out if I ever need any help setting up informational interviews/introductions with other agencies or PR professionals. 4.) The entire B2 team wants you to succeed: - they encourage/set up PRSA webinars on different topics to help give new perspectives and information - they give you the resources to gain different certifications while you have free time (muckrack fundamentals of media relations & Hubspot SEO certification were two I obtained) - biweekly 1:1 meetings with principals Missy & Kyle allowing for resume review and open conversations about the industry and answers to any questions you may have about post-grad life - milestones are set for each month to make sure you are learning as much as possible throughout your internship.

Cons

I have nothing negative to say. I gained the most knowledge throughout this experience than during my previous internship at a different company and am extremely grateful.

Pros

Small team that's focused on shared success. Company invests in learning opportunities and stays current on PR trends. You're encouraged to get involved in the community, either local to you or in the PR industry. Clients are reasonable and value PR.

Cons

At times, the workload is heavy, though it's ok to talk about it with your manager. Small team. Fully virtual & few chances for in-person meetings.

Pros

B2 has been really valuable to my understanding of public relations. Interns are provided very hands-on responsibilities and clear monthly milestones to complete. There is also intern coursework and videos to watch on Thinkific, which makes it easier for interns to onboard. Leadership is also quick to provide relevant responsibilities that cater to my own interests and in the direction I want to grow into future-wise, so I truly appreciate the experience here.

Cons

Since B2 is an entirely remote team, the program is better suited for self-motivated, communicative individuals than those who call for more direction and guidance. Giving interns more specific responsibilities from the get-go would help save them time trying to carve out their own place and role in the agency.
