A good place to work at overall but needs some tweaks - Anonymous employee BAE Systems Employee Review

BAE did a good job at welcoming me. I was kept well informed at the on-boarding stage and the two day induction was well thought out and I had some good discussions and made acquaintances at the 2nd night induction dinner. I didn’t immediately have a career manager but ended up with one who put themselves forward realising I did not have one. I then ended up with a second for a few days instigated by the team who should have sorted it out in the first place! I kept the first one and they have been brilliant at supporting me and advising me. I have wanted to change roles and the career manager has put me in touch with several other people I could inevitably work with. The flexible working is really good as well. This is a real bonus for anyone who has kids, elderly parents or just likes the solitude of working on their own. It also has a good pension and a variety of benefits which are very attractive.
