Pros
Cool technology; top of the range components used. Some very capable people. The products developed in the Wireless department are world class. Reasonably well compensated.
Cons
The role doesn't attract the most sociable people and can attract a specific kind of person that can be difficult. It can be very demeaning when ~50% of the workplace struggle with basic social skills.
