Pros

It's a paying job I guess

Cons

Absolutely no effort to support employees, especially those assigned to federal contracts during major upheaval events. Other places I've worked federal contracts have contingencies for employees to work internally when there's a funding lapse or other disruption. BAE just says you're SOL. Also they've dropped all support for employee resource groups. They never did much but at least they tried to pretend to support employee communities. Not anymore.

Pros

The hybrid schedule is a major benefit and provides a good balance between in-office collaboration and flexibility.

Cons

Career growth can feel limited if you are not originally from Utah or already connected within the local organization. Time off can feel limited compared to the government customer you support. The customer often receives more holidays and administrative leave, but contractor employees may still be constrained by sector policies even when the contract generally follows the customer’s schedule.
