Pros
It's a job! I only do it because I feel the soldiers deserve someone who cares about them doing the job. Not the hundreds of woke PM's BAE employs who don't care about the end user of the product.
Cons
No managers have a spine, they are all scared for their own job. Healthcare is bottom of the barrel, BAE is self-insured they pay Cigna to administer, Cigna denies tests, procedures, and treatments regularly. For my family I pay around 8K a year before the insurance pays anything. If you have your out of pocket max met in December, everything will be denied until January first when you have to pay for it. Forget advancing at BAE if you don't fit the right demographic. The company force feeds you their wokeness non-stop. I do the EXACT same job as others in my group that are 2 pay grades above me. Leadership and training do not exist.
