Managers promoted not based on knowledge level or skill, but their willingness to suck up to upper management. Often not strong leaders, just liked by regional managers. Absolutely no room for promotion, as two to three branches are now managed by one market leader. A little ridiculous for the customers as well, since they only occasionally have access to a manager during the week.
