Pros
Decent benefits package. A good place to start a career if you don't have a college degree. Banking experience can open the door for future non-banking jobs. They have offices along the east coast, so transfer is a possibility. They also have BB&T University. They hire bilingual people at a premium rate.
Cons
The retail side of BB&T banking is SELL, SELL, SELL, and SELL! They are mainly concerned about selling their products and services; however, they pay attention to customer service so they will provide training. Management at the branch level are not always professionals. They are basically people who have been in banking for a long time.
