the regional demographics will assume all asian applicants are refugees or inferior based on my personal experience at this work place. i was asked by several people if i am a refugee. this made the work environment difficult. they also resented me for working hard and being self sufficient would come by just to “help” but what they were really doing was to passive aggressively put me down.
