      Pros

      At BD you can experience a broad spectrum of solutions for clinical applications within a multinational environnement. If you are an experienced professional, this allows to use your competencies for different divisions and positions. If you are junior in MedTech, this allows to develop skills, knowledge and competence in a very competitive market.

      Cons

      Being part of a very large group, you can sometimes have the feeling of being not essential for the organisation as an individual. Even though it is also one of the tasks of you supervisor to value you as an individual contributor, it is essential not to lose the self-awareness of the importance of individual effort in the organization.

      Pros

      Chaotic environment forces quick growth. Treat it as a resume builder and then find a more stable opportunity.

      Cons

      Constant backorders due to poor management. Likely to have more changes in leadership team(s) than years spent at the company. Unethical leaders that act like high school bullies and cling to titles rather than create a supportive environment. Employees constantly left in the dark due to lack of meetings or failure of leaders to even learn what their teams are working on. Constant reorgs with no consideration of impact to teams or business continuity. Frequent cases of falsified performance reviews to push out whistleblowers with complicit HR teams. Quality policy is a joke. RTO push to high COL areas with no relocation support, onboarding, seat and laptop assignment - only to lay off entire teams within a year just to repost the same position and ask laid off employees to re-apply.
